On to the next one
Taylor Swift has a new boyfriend-again. Anyone surprised? I didn’t think so. I’m not writing this to bash her at all, I just have a few things I would like to say about this situation. It’s not the fact that Taylor has a different boyfriend every other week that bothers me (although I do find that a little annoying) it’s who she is actually dating.
Taylor, 22, started dating Conor Kennedy, 18, in May of this year. Recently the two broke it off and now, six months later, she is dating One Direction sensation Harry Styles, who is also 18. I don’t know if it’s just me, but if my relationship with an 18 year old boy barely lasted five months I wouldn’t be too eager to date another 18 year-old two months later. Come on girl, you honestly can’t tell me you don’t know why the first one didn’t work out.
There’s no denying Taylor’s dating choices are a little strange. The guys she dates are either way too old for her or way too young. When Taylor was only 20 she dated Jake Gyllenhaal, who was 29 at the time. In 2009, Taylor was still a teenager when she dated 31-year-old John Mayer who was 12 years older than her. Taylor Lautner was three years younger than her and Glee star Cory Monteith is eight. Of course these aren’t all of her relationships, but you get the idea.
Taylor, don’t you see the pattern here? Either you’re way older than your boyfriend or way younger and none of your relationships last longer than a year. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with dating a lot of guys, you have to play the field before finding the right one. But when most of your songs are about how bad the relationship was or how heartbroken you were, don’t you think something might be wrong? Taylor said in an interview that not all of her songs are about break ups – but still. They are all about boys.
I guess if Taylor didn’t go through as many guys as she does, she wouldn’t have the career that she does either.

time her bets are on Mitt Romney. Crawford appeared in one of Romney’s earlier campaign videos.
Clooney has been a supporter for Obama before he was even president. In an interview in 2006 with ABC’s Kate Snow, Clooney had nothing but good things to say about Obama.
